These are real reports produced by wavelens from test signals made with wavgen. Every one is a single self-contained HTML file, exactly what a run on your own audio gives you — open any of them in a new tab and click around.
wavelens analyze · reference vs. device under test
A clean pass. A 10-second stereo frequency sweep compared with an identical copy: every check passes and nothing is flagged.
The device under test is 0.3 dB quieter than the reference, so the files are not identical — and the verdict is still PASS. Bit-Exactness is flagged but doesn't decide the verdict by default, and the report says so.
Each one has a single, deliberate fault
A gain error: the device under test is 2 dB louder than the reference across the whole sweep.
A dropout: 250 ms of digital silence at the 6-second mark of the device under test.
Added distortion: a 1 kHz tone with a 3 kHz harmonic about 30 dB below it.
wavelens plot · no reference, no verdict
A stereo 20 Hz–20 kHz sweep: spectrum, linear-frequency view, full-length waveform overview and time energy, left and right channels.
Four simultaneous tones (250 Hz, 1 kHz, 4 kHz and 10 kHz), shown as four distinct peaks in the spectrum.
Pink noise at −20 dBFS RMS: a broadband spectrum that falls by about 3 dB per octave.
